Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, the categories of cookies we set on the site, the third-party services that may set cookies in our pages, how long they live, and how you can control or disable them. The full legal text and the live cookie inventory follow in the Termly embed at the bottom of this page.

What are cookies

Cookies are small text files that websites place on your device (computer, tablet, or phone) when you visit them. They're used to make sites work efficiently, remember preferences, and provide information to site owners. Similar technologies — local storage, session storage, and tracking pixels — work in the same way and are covered by this policy.

Cookies do not contain personally identifying information by themselves, but they can be combined with other data we hold about you to identify your device or browser session.

Types of cookies we use

We group cookies into four categories:

  • Strictly necessary cookies — required for the site to function. They enable load balancing, security, form submission, and basic navigation. These cannot be turned off.
  • Performance & analytics cookies — help us understand aggregate traffic patterns, which pages are popular, and how visitors move through the site. They do not identify you personally.
  • Functional cookies — remember choices you make (such as language or region) and provide enhanced features. If you disable these, parts of the site may not work properly.
  • Targeting / marketing cookies— set only with your consent through our cookie banner. They're used to show relevant ads on third-party sites and measure ad performance.

A full, live inventory of every individual cookie we set — by name, category, provider, and expiry — is rendered in the Termly embed below.

Third-party cookies & providers

Some pages on the site embed content or services from third parties. When those embeds load, the third party may set its own cookies. We do not control those cookies — each provider's own policy applies.

The third parties we work with most often include:

  • Google (Analytics, Tag Manager, reCAPTCHA, Fonts) — measurement and security
  • YouTube — embedded videos (set cookies when you press play)
  • Vimeo — embedded videos (set cookies when you press play)
  • Rumble — embedded videos (set cookies when you press play)
  • Trustpilot — the live reviews carousel on /testimonials
  • Termly — the cookie banner / consent management and the live policy inventory on this page
  • Stripe / our payment processor — set cookies during checkout for fraud prevention
  • Calendly & Cal.com — appointment-scheduling embeds

The live inventory below lists each cookie individually, including the third-party providers that set them.

How long cookies are stored

The cookies on our site fall into two categories by lifespan:

  • Session cookies — temporary cookies that are deleted when you close your browser. Used for things like maintaining state during form submission.
  • Persistent cookies — stored on your device for a set period (anywhere from a few minutes to two years, depending on the cookie). Used for analytics aggregation, remembering your consent choices, and marketing measurement.

Each cookie's individual expiry is listed in the live inventory below.

How to control or manage cookies

You have multiple ways to control cookies on this site:

  • Use our cookie banner. The first time you visit, a Termly-powered banner asks for your preferences. You can reopen it at any time using the “Manage cookie preferences” link in the site footer.
  • Browser settings. All modern browsers let you block all cookies, block only third-party cookies, or delete existing cookies. The Help section of your browser explains how.
  • Industry opt-outs. For targeting cookies, you can use Your AdChoices (US) or Your Online Choices (EU/UK) to opt out of personalized advertising from many ad networks.
  • Do Not Track. We respect the Do Not Track signal for analytics cookies on browsers that send it.

Blocking all cookies may break parts of the site — particularly forms, video embeds, and the cookie banner itself.

Analytics & measurement

We use analytics tools to understand how visitors find and use the site — which articles get read, which downloads are popular, and where users drop off in the formation flow. This information is aggregated and does not personally identify you.

You can opt out of Google Analytics specifically by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Targeting & marketing cookies

We set targeting cookies only if you have consented through our cookie banner. These cookies help us:

  • show you relevant ads on other websites you visit;
  • limit how often you see the same ad;
  • measure whether our ads led to a useful action.

You can withdraw consent at any time using the cookie banner — the targeting cookies will be deleted on your next page load.

Changes to this Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the cookies we use or for operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. When we make changes, we update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to re-read this policy periodically to stay informed about how we use cookies.
